missions tornado relief

On April 15th a tornado damaged many homes in the eastern and southern parts of Greensboro. We will collect special offerings on Sunday morning April 22 and April 29 to go to disaster relief. Out of town or unable to give on those Sunday mornings? You can give now by choosing "Tornado relief" under giving type!

Cornerstone is also responding by giving and going through our partnerships with Greensboro Urban Ministry and Baptists On Mission!

Greensboro Urban Ministry has made it clear that their

most urgent needs are bottled water, diapers in sizes 3, 4, 5 and pull-up diapers for potty training, and Similac infant formula of all varieties. Please bring these items and/or food pantry donations like bags of rice, canned goods, and peanut butter & jelly (no glass jars) to the church and we will deliver them to G.U.M. Look for donation bins marked for tornado relief in the church lobby.

Baptists On Mission are stationed at Northside Baptist on 1100 E Cornwallis Drive in Greensboro. They would like help cleaning up debris. Sign up to go with Cornerstone or if you'd like to volunteer individually sign up here on the B.O.M. website.
