In December 2016, Cornerstone was blessed with the opportunity to host The Daraja Children's Choir for a special night of worship through African song and dance. This unique occasion allowed for the body of Christ from all over Greensboro, the United States, and the world, to gather in worship. Having such a great time with them then, we have invited them back to lead a combined Sunday morning worship service on March 18th so that our local body of Christ, can once again, gather with the global body of Christ and worship our great God in this exciting way. YOU ARE NOT GOING TO WANT TO MISS IT!!
Would You Be Willing To Help Host Daraja!!
Daraja will be with us Thursday evening March 15 through Sunday morning March 18. We are in search of willing and able families to host the choir during their stay with us. We will need to provide 7 Host Homes, 2 Hospitality Homes, and 2 back-up Homes.
These homes generally host 2-3 children and 1-2 chaperones.
These homes will host ONLY Daraja chaperones. This is their time off and is very precious to their restoration and perseverance on tour.
It is helpful if these homes are:
• Families with NO children at home
• Families with an available vehicle for use or hosts with the availability to drive the chaperones around if needed.
