  • Weekly Disciplers bible study: starts sept 8, 2022

Join us for a Bible study on Hebrews, 1 Peter, 2 Peter, and Jude!

Hebrews is a book which will help you understand the Old Testament customs and sacrifices and how they were symbols which looked ahead to Christ, the one perfect sacrifice, once and for all. Hebrews explains how Christ is superior to anything that came before. The things in the Old Testament were good but not perfect. Christ is better. He is the best. He is perfect. Christ fulfilled the demands of the law and opened the way to God for all.

Peter’s letters were written to believers who were suffering persecution and needed encouragement to live victorious lives in difficult times. Peter presents Christ as the precious, living cornerstone of our faith, as the writing copy over which we are to trace our lives, and as our hope so we may glorify God in our lives.

Peter’s second letter and Jude were both written to expose, confront, and encourage believers not to be deceived by false teaching in the church. These letters are very applicable to our day and do not mince words concerning the doom of false teachers. These are spots in your love feasts, while they feast with you without fear, serving only themselves. They are clouds without water, carried about by the winds; late autumn trees without fruit, twice dead pulled up by the roots, raging waves of the sea foaming up their own shame; wandering stars for whom is reserved the blackness of darkness forever.

Disciplers Bible Study lessons are designed to be used for personal study along with weekly group interaction. Each lesson includes commentary and daily questions for personal study. The daily questions are meant to be discussed weekly in a group. • Parenting SERMOns

Dr. Rick Byrd recently preached a 3-part parenting series for our Wednesday night Bible study gatherings. Our church desires to see children raised and discipled to be champions for Christ. To see this happen, we know it must start in the home. God's Word has much wisdom for anyone who desires to see their children grow to love the Lord. Don't miss your chance to watch to these messages.

  • Fantastic Fridays: RETURNS SPRING 2023

Being a mom is hard! It always seems like there is someone wanting

something from you and that there aren't enough hours in the day to get everything done! Let's face it...being a mom can be exhausting!

Do you ever wish that you had a place to recharge your soul?  Do you ever wish that you had time to sit and talk with other moms without being distracted by the kids?  Do you ever wish that you had a safe place to ask parenting questions to older moms who have been through this stage of life and survived?

We are so excited to offer a ministry at Cornerstone that is designed

specifically for YOU and it's called Fantastic Fridays! This ministry will

give you a place to recharge your soul, a place to talk with other moms, and a place to take away some wisdom from older moms. We know that being a wife and mother can be challenging and we want to be a ministry that encourages you during this stage of life!

We will begin registering for this ministry when it begins again. If you have any questions, contact Jennifer Pratt at (336) 253-6707.
